The School of Critical Engagement is an experimental educational platform operating in Detroit, Copenhagen and Beijing. We are a collective of artists, architects, urban designers, writers, actors, theorists, fillmmakers, teachers and academics working in varied urban contexts to explore radically different political and economic climates and the effects of those on cultural production. Our projects are diverse and born from the curiosities of the geography.
We connect formal educational institutes with practitioners and eager learners to work on context-specific projects.
We hope to begin connecting these geographies together through exchange programs in 2012 and ongoing.
